Mineral Makeup Foundation - Adonia Shade

I have tried just about every mineral foundation around: Jane Iredale, bareMinerals, Pur Minerals, Sheer Cover, Mary Kay, Merle Norman, etc. This is the first that has not caused breakouts. It is not chalky & does not cake. After many 12 to 18 hours days, I can confidently say this foundation is near bullet-proof! Without any touch-ups, it stays perfectly in place with little if any oil-breakthrough. I have both the Dewy and the Velvet formulations so that I can increase oil control when necessary. The Adonia shade proved to be a great match for my light-medium skin, while the lighter Fiorella works as a good highlighter. And last, but definitely not least: the brushes sold by Sterling are PHENOMENAL!! They are pricey, but worth every single penny. After months of use and many washings, the bristles are still tight and the handles are in one piece.

I tried several different shades and finally found just the right one! I love this foundation! Love the texture, the way it looks so natural on my skin, that it lasts the entire day...well, I can go on and on, but try it and you will see what I mean!

I LOVE mineral makeup always have. Started using it about 10 years ago and struggled with itching around my nose, cheeks, mouth and chin. I never knew what it was.

Found Sterling Minerals and I have to say I love it and recommend it to friends. I recently tried another companies All Natural foundation. I found that I had the same problem that I had with the company I tried years ago..itching.

I have come to find out it is the Bismuth Oxychloride!

I read your advice regarding colour and bought three sample sizes in dewy rose and the main colour you recommended turned out to be exactly right for me. I am 70 yrs old with oily and damaged skin and a large nevus on my cheek. The coverage is extremely good, allowing me to build it up to a higher density where needed without a cakey appearance. This foundation is the best I have ever tried, leaving my skin feeling ultra soft, without an oily shine appearing after many hours. I had previously used Estée Lauder Doublewear but will definitely be buying more of this.

I have tried Almay, Physicians Formula, Bare Minerals (skin and eyes itched and burned with all). I have rosacea, and my (former) dermatologist recommended and sold Glo Minerals. I told him I thought I was allergic to something in it...he said I could not be, so I continued to use Glo Minerals for about 3 years (both loose and pressed powders).

My skin became worse over time-itchy, red, irritated, scaly. My rosacea worsened! The bismuth oxychloride is probably the culprit! Sterling Minerals (Delicate Rose) is the only face powder I have been able to use without irritation! The Adonia color works well for my coloring. I am 55 years old with copper colored red hair with white mixing in, light-medium (sensitive and dry) skin with a few pale freckles, blue-gray eyes. At times, I mix a little Sophie color with the Adonia to slightly darken.

I am thankful to the Lord for makeup I am able to use on my sensitive skin! I also use the Evening Rose Veil at night to help soothe my skin and use the eye shadows and blushes...am so pleased with all products including the soft brushes!

I have just ordered this line of makeup for the first time. I received great words of wisdom regarding the makeup from the person I spoke with and she told me what I should try. My skin is very sensitive especially around my eye area. I have been wearing the make up for 5 days now and so far...no irritation. This is good!
